Chicago holiday markets
One of the best things about the holidays has to be the holiday markets that have popped up in the last few years — everything you could ever imagine that’s not corporate-made under one roof, complete with snacks and, if you’re lucky, a little mulled wine, too.
Here are the remaining Chicago holiday markets and popups to get you all those last minute gifts (and I’ll keep updating!):
BeJolly. popup (Hair Loft, 33 N Carpenter) Start the day off with yoga, then a variety of designers and artists selling handbags, jewelry and more. Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., free.
Bucktown Holiday ArtShow (Holstein Park Fieldhouse, 2200 N. Oakley Ave) is in its 18th year with art from all media-from ceramics to photography, watercolors to oils, jewelry to textiles from 100 artists. Don’t forget to download the coupon for half off admission (on the link). 100 artists participate in the ArtShow. Don’t miss out on the Silent Auction where you can find great deals on donations from artists in the ArtShow. If you would like to attend the Bucktown Holiday ArtShow, download a coupon for half off admission pass (Admission is $2/person at the door). The Bucktown Holiday ArtShow is organized and promoted by Bucktown Promotions. Sat-Sun, $2.
Chicago Art Girls Holiday Pop-Up Shop (3730 N Oakley Ave) features 40+ local female artists selling artwork, jewelry, clothing, photography, paintings and more. There’s also a food drive for local hunger relief organization Common Pantry. Sat-Sun, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., free
