Sketch Thursdays
Here’s an event I’m discovering for the first time: Sketch Thursdays. The West Town Chamber of Commerce is hosting live-art events on the second Thursday of every month. These events are intended to promote new artists in the West Town area. Free admission and complementary food: what could be better! The location varies, so make sure you know the location before heading out.
The first event in 2010 is on 14 January from 6-8 pm at the Continental Lounge (2801 W. Chicago Ave.).
They haven’t posted future dates and locations, but here is a list of second Thursdays for 2010: 11February, 11 March, 8 April, 13 May, 10 June, 8 July, 12 August, 9 September, 14 October, 11 November, 9 December.
