Macy’s wedding registy: “Sip & Scan Registry” event

Anyone planning a wedding? Is this one reason you need to be thrifty right now?
If you are planning to register at Macy’s, you can make a “date” of adding items to your registry while sipping “fun beverages” (hmm, if you attend, let me know what this means:) and appetizers. This event seems to occur at Macy’s throughout the country, so if you know an engaged couple, share the news!

They also used a favorite phrase in the event information: free gift! What Thriftista doesn’t like a free gift?
The State Street location will hold an event on June 13. If you live in the burbs, check to see when those locations have scheduled their events.
