Gorilla Tango Theatre
One of the great things about Chicago is all the small theaters. One of the more interesting small theaters is Gorilla Tango Theatre, which is on the western border of Bucktown‚ off the Western stop of the Blue Line (Milwaukee/Armitage/Western). This small storefront theater offers shows for an inexpensive price‚ often under $15.
Most shows are only for a few nights and they seem to give people the opportunity to produce their own show.
If you are interested in food before the show, there are a few good Mexican restaurants nearby on Western, or if you’d rather have a sandwich and ice cream then go to Margies! A small tea shop isn’t far away either‚ Tea Essence.
I may have to go see the Circus of Cats when they come in October.)
